Copy and Paste
Copy and paste, is a familiar technique in all programs that can run by pressing Ctrl + C - Ctrl + V, but we have some alternatives Revit assistants to help us when working.
Edit stuck it
Immediately after hitting objects in the project, displayed a new Ribbon called EDIT PASTE.
If you select the Edit button Pasted Elements, we are in a new way with a new toolbar.
In this mode only be edited pasted items. We can filter or select all elements of the bond. When we finished, we click the Finish button.
But within the Paste options, we have 5 choices that make the process simpler sometimes and effective. Depending on which elements are copied or on which views are copied options may vary and are
- ; Aligned to selected level: This mode allows us to quickly paste items at several levels simultaneously, select from a dialog box.
This is very interesting, when you need to copy objects on several floors.
- Aligned to Selected Views : If you need to copy objects 2D, text, dimensions, we can paste them from a dialog box in all parallel to the selected view that we need.
- Aligned to current view: This option pastes the selected items in the active view in the same location on (XY)
- Aligned to Same Place: This option pastes the items in exactly the same place where it was copied or cut. this option is widely used when working with design options
- Aligned to Picked Level: this option can copy the objects at different levels by selecting from one section or view.
